CAYAMBE
The summit of Cayambe lies at 5796 m, making it the third highest mountain in Ecuador. It is located in the Cayambe-Coca Ecological Reserve in the eastern Andes Mountains.
ILLINIZA
The twin Illiniza Norte (5,126 m) are located in the ecological reserve “Los Illinizas”. The reserve has subtropical forests, Andean forests and páramos (moor) with a considerable biodiversity.
COTOPAXI
The Cotopaxi (5,897 m) is one of the highest active volcanoes on earth. This volcano has a beautiful conical shape, and a glacier that covers the summit, is without a doubt a fantastic climbing experience for beginners and experienced mountaineers.
CHIMBORAZO
El Chimborazo (6,267 m) is the highest mountain in Ecuador. Due to the flattening of the earth in the polar ice caps, the Chimborazo is the farthest point from space on Earth, measured from the center of the planet.
